This morning while my daughter sipped her tea before prepping for school I witnessed the coolest thing. Her discovery of vibrato. Sitting at her table she sipped and sang while I busied myself all around. She proceeded to make up a new song, ‘I Love This Tea’ only this time, she was shaking her vocal chords (hard), her head and neck simultaneously. “Look Mommy! I can sing like a big girl!!!” she shouted. And proceeded to demonstrate again to make sure I saw what she was doing. I laughed and once I actually watched all of her actions working together through, I love this tea, I thought “holy shit…Will you look at that? The 3 year old just discovered Vibrato?! It was one of those wonder-filled moments. …You know the ones.
